Day 01: Delhi / Srinagar/ Shikara ride
On arrival inSrinagarmeet and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel/ Houseboat. Afternoon 2-3 Hours Shikara ride on DalLakeby a “SHIKARA” witness floating and vegetable gardens & experience the aquatic life ofSrinagar. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machine & wood of a walnut. Evening return to your reserved Houseboat/Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast full day trip to SONMARG “THE MEADOW OF GOLD“- 88 Kms fromSrinagar will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies inSindhValleystreamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. The SINDH RIVER that meanders through the valley abounds with TROUT .Ponies can be hired for the trip up to THAJIWAS GLACIER, which is a major local attraction during t he summer. Evening return to Srinagar for Hotel / Houseboat for dinner and overnight.
Day 03: – Srinagar – Yousmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Yousmarg (a Scenic meadow), mesmerizes tourists with its scenic beauty and Mountains comparable of European Alps. Situated amidst Sang safed Valley, Yousmarg is reputed for having some unique spring flowers. It also has some of the highest peaks and Pirpanjal range like Tatakoti 4725mts and sunset peak 4746mts. The mighty River Dodh Ganga makes this destination more thrilling. The nature slopes of Yousmarg offer skiing opportunities to experts. Evening return to Srinagar Hot el/ Houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Srinagar –Mughal Garden- Pahalgam
After early breakfast, visits Mughal gardens“NISHAT” (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. and “SHALIMAR” (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank ofDalLakewith theZabarwanMountainsin the back Ground ……and afternoon drive to Pahalgam “VALLEY OF SHEPHERDS” drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years oldtempleofLord Vishnubuilt by King Awantiwarman). Enroute visit “Mattan Temple” few kms ahead of Anantnag, a pond full of holy fishes is believed to be creations of Lord Shiva. Drive through the pine forest along Lidder River. The total distance of about 96 kms will be covered in about 2 ½ hrs. On arrival at Pahalgam check in at your reserved hotel for two nights. One can enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest, enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for AMARNATH PILGRIMAGE. Evening return hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: -Pahalgam
Full day excursion trip to Aru valley or Chandanwari on your own charges. Evening return to your reserved Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 06: – Pahalgam – Gulmarg
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers”2730Mts. above sea level. The distance of 155 kms will be covered in about 3 ½ hrs. Gulmarg is famous for Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. On arrival in Gulmarg check in at your reserved hotel. One can have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a cable car ride which takes to the highest point. Evening return to your reserved hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 07: Gulmarg
Local sightseeing at Gulmarg on your own charges visiting by cable car ride to Affarwat or Alapather. Return for lunch, dinner and overnight at your leisure.
Day 08: – Gulmarg – Srinagar Airport
After early breakfast drive toSrinagarairport on time to catch onward flight.
